ROCKWOOD, PA (Laurel Highlands)
Serenity Falls Guesthouse is a turn of the century farm house on 24 acres. The house has been completely remodeled and updated. Some of the hemlock wood that is on the house actually came from a tree that was on the property. October 2005 brought two new additions to the landscape. A 34- foot two sided waterfall was added to the back of their mountain home as well as an arbor which is a very relaxing place to view the sunsets. The focal point inside their mountain home is a 22-foot sunken great room with a large Seven Springs style stone fireplace. The dining room overlooks the great room and is adjacent to the spacious country kitchen. There is also a full bath and a TV/sleeping room all of which are located on the first floor. Upstairs you'll find three more rooms that sleep a total of six people and an additional bathroom. Their home has been host to many family and alumni get-togethers, girls' weekends, guys' weekends, church retreats and many ski weekends and holiday trips.
